This was my first visit to this location. A female sales associate with braided hair was assigned to help me. I went in hoping to exchange a pair of glasses, but she told me I would need to return them and then make a completely new purchase. When I was about to purchase a new pair of reading glasses, I noticed the price was close to $300—significantly higher than what I’ve paid for reading glasses in the past. When I asked for clarification, her response was simply, “I don’t know what to tell you. Do you want it or not?” When I mentioned that I had purchased similar reading glasses from WP before at a much lower price, she repeated the same response and did not even bother to check my purchase history. The entire interaction lasted less than 3 minutes. The associate was dismissive, unknowledgeable, and rude—far below the level of customer service expected from Warby Parker. I was honestly shocked by the lack of professionalism and left the store without making a purchase. This experience was completely inconsistent with my experiences at other Warby Parker locations and left a very negative impression of the Hudson Yards store.
