- TATaylor AndrewsDec 5, 20251.0We recently moved to NY and scheduled a routine 6-month checkup for our two toddlers. Prior to this, both kids had consistently healthy dental reports with little, to no watch areas or issues/concerns. At this office, we were shocked to hear that both children supposedly had a large number of cavities. Thankfully, we decided to get a second opinion before proceeding. The second dentist confirmed that the actual number of cavities was significantly less than what this office claimed. This experience left us feeling deeply concerned about the accuracy and integrity of their diagnostic process. What’s even more alarming: in our neighborhood alone on a nearby Military Installation, 5–6 other military families have had similar experiences with this same office - some of which consisting of more intense dental work (i.e. root canals). I would not be surprised if this practice starts receiving more reviews like this one and ultimately loses military clients. Something seems to be off here - this office is cavity happy. Recommend parents always get a second opinion before agreeing to any major dental work, especially if the diagnosis seems extreme compared to your child’s previous dental history. (This review does not pertain to the orthodontics)

I’ve been treated by the adult dentist Dr. Paul and he did a great job on tooth that needed a filing. I’m not a fan of needles in my mouth but his injection was seamless I felt nothing so I was impressed. Right now I’m under the care of the orthodontist Dr. Emelie and she is amazing as well as her ortho staff. While I don’t have any small children to see the pediatric dentists I heard that they were all great dentist. I highly recommend RPDO for your dental needs.
