  I had a very disappointing and unsafe experience at this office. It started with a rude interaction over the phone while making my appointment, and I was not informed that my pupils would need to be dilated. After driving myself there, I felt very uncomfortable driving home afterward but had no other choice. I believe patients should be informed in advance so they can make other travel arrangements. When I arrived, the front desk staff and nurse were pleasant, but the doctor’s care was unacceptable. I came in for a stye that had developed into a chalazion. Instead of discussing proper treatment options, the doctor forcefully squeezed and pushed on my eyelid with her fingers and a Q-tip in an attempt to “pop or drain” it. From everything I’ve read and been told, this is not an appropriate or safe method, as it can cause further irritation or spread infection. I had already completed a 10-day course of antibiotics, yet she tried to prescribe another. I declined the antibiotics and asked why I would need another course and she didn’t really have a good reason for it. My eyelid, which was not painful before the appointment, became sore and inflamed afterward due to the rough handling. It’s still sore now hours later. I left feeling worse than when I came in and very concerned about the standard of care here.

  Great place for eye exam; after having glasses 20+ yrs dealing with other eyeglass places; I can say that Carey at the eyeglass center here is the best with customer service and care hands down. Smart, knowledgeable and actually caring.

  Great doctors. Clean office. They are able to handle all eye issues from simple to complex. I highly recommend Arleo Eye Associates.

  Sometimes when I am at an optometrist I feel more like I am dealing with a retail environment instead of a medical environment. Arleo Eye Associates is a professional medical environment. I wasn't asked to add-on unnecessary tests, or any other attempts to add onto my appointment. They just gave me my prescription at the end, with no pitch to buy anything. Other optometrists I have visited strongly resisted even giving my prescription, and did so accompanied by a sales pitch. Arleo is great, I have had glasses for decades, it is already my favorite optometrist office.
