- AMAirica McGrawJul 31, 20251.0UHPP's gender-affirming care is absolutely terrible and they honestly have no business being in the field. It started okay, but then they switched me from oral to patches (against my wishes), while also ignoring my primary doctor's approval of my taking oral estradiol. The blood test came back and confirms it: my E is plummeting due to the change and my depression (dysphoria) is back in full swing. The reason? She said it was because they are being "more conservative" with my health care. Poor choice of words!

I went in with existing prescriptions and she not only didn't put all of the medications we talked about in the system, the dosages were wildly incorrect for the two that ended up actually being put in. To make all of this even more frustrating the two women working the desk were rude, and the practitioner was over an hour late for my scheduled appointment. This is going to put me at risk due to gross disregard for my healthcare needs and I will absolutely never be going back to this place. This is absolutely going to be reported to the new York state board of health
- AOAspen oddMar 26, 20241.0Nurse practitioner on staff on march 26th 2024 at 1030am forced my wife to change from pill estrogen to patches without her input. Made her feel very insecure about taking estrogen and very upset because she felt like she was no longer in control of her own transition. She was talked down to and belittled for of all things - smoking cigarettes which statistically many queer people do and she certainly isnt in a Position to be doling out punishments by changing her care without her consent. she has been happily on estrogen pill for many months. Im so upset that we will jow have to go all the way to goshen for care.
