  Quite possibly the worst dental experience I’ve ever had. The star is for the incredibly kind administrative staff who were never anything but helpful. I was a patient of Dr. Steinberg for several years, as this is one of the only dental offices that accepted my insurance, and I needed an extensive amount of work done, including a bridge and several crowns. At first, I felt cared for and like my needs were being considered. Somewhere during the pandemic, the quality of care I received significantly declined. Dr. Steinberg, who is normally laid back and jokey to an almost concerning degree, became irritable and snappy with me during procedures, rude to his assistants, never wore a mask, and once accidentally let spittle from his own mouth fly into mine while chatting with the hygienist (all of whom are very kind) about weekend plans over my prone body. I also shared with him that I am diagnosed with PTSD and am very easily startled and jumpy, which I thought would be important information given the vulnerable position I was in as a patient having metal tools being put in their mouth. In response, I was informed by him that I “will likely never be the same” after my trauma (I certainly didn’t ask for that input) and that I “shouldn’t from tellanybody else” because I would be treated differently. I remember one specifically stressful appointment in which one of the hygienists paired with him tried to remove one of my actual teeth instead of the temporary crown. She only stopped and looked at my chart to clarify when I asked if it was normal for her to have to pull so hard to get a temporary crown removed. I have since switched to an office that I trust and have been informed that much of the work done at Columbia Street Dental was sloppy and must be redone. I wouldn’t go out of my way to post this review if it didn’t feel necessary, and it does. If you value your physical and mental health, I would suggest looking elsewhere for care.

  Don’t come here around the holidays because for whatever reason the doctors and staff might decide to do a hack job and rush through your procedure because they want to go home. Great front desk staff innocent.

  I highly recommend for anyone and everyone! I hadn't been to the dentist in over a decade, I had been trying to get to a dentist for over a year, I was really nervous. I got an appointment quickly, the dental assistants are amazing, Dr Steinburg is amazing, my appointment to remove my top 2 wisdom teeth was at 1pm, I was done and on my way at 1:20!

  The Dr's are great the dental assistance are great the work was fantastic I highly appreciate and recommend anyone who needs any oral work done to go see these professionals

  Spouse had all of his teeth extracted . Had 2nd impression made. Spouse mentioned that he has had chronic sinus infections since extractions and was concerned that he had a perforated sinus. The person who did the impression today responded " thank you for telling me ". Thats all ! This is unacceptable. Nothing was addressed regarding this concern.
