  From beginning to end I have had such a great experience. I was so nervous prior by the staff made me feel secure. The procedure itself was painless and I really didn’t feel any kind of pressure. I was in and out of the procedure in 10 min. I will say that I was in the office procedure day for about 3.5 hours but honestly once you’re, you’re done. My recovery has been exceptional and I’ve followed post op instructions to a T. Highlight recommend. If you’re unsure please don’t look up videos online - that made my anxiety go through the roof. I listened to other people who have gotten lasik at this location and couldn’t have been so happy I really went through it. 10/10 best decision I have ever made !!

  I wanted to get lasik for years but was always on the fence due to fears of the procedure, concerns about the cost, uncertainty about my eligibility. But LVI was amazing from start to finish. Found them online and decided to reach out after researching their many amazing reviews. Booked a consult online, got an appointment later that week, and it was quick yet very thorough and informative. They offered several payment options to make it accessible and applying was fast and easy too. And just like that I was booked for my surgery a week later and the procedure was unbelievably easy. Staff, techs, nurses and doctors were all friendly, attentive, and thorough. The whole process was seamless and easy. If I had to note anything at all, it would be that the wait time on the day of surgery was quite long. Waited over an hour for a 5-10 minute procedure. One person in the waiting room was particularly irritated about it. But I figure they’re doing surgery on both of my eyes at the same time, so I don’t mind if they take their time to do it and do it right. That said it was life changing for me and I probably wouldn’t have pulled the trigger if I didn’t find a place like LVI that made everything so easy. Would highly recommend LVI Garden City and wouldn’t consider anywhere else!

  Experience was great, they are really informative and helpful, everything from consultation to procedure to post-op was very great. Nervousness is normal, but they definitely make you feel assured

  I came to the Garden City location to get a consultation for LASIK and eventually surgery. The initial consultation was very easy and Zakiya was great at facilitating the whole process and making everything seem smooth. I was a good candidate given I have no medical problems and good corneal health. I had -1.75 in both eyes. They were able to get me scheduled for surgery and had a fairly flexible schedule. On the day of surgery, while I was in the waiting room, the staff informed me that was a bed malfunction and the case would have to be canceled. Despite my frustration, I understood the circumstances given that there is always a potential for technical issues no matter how sophisticated the technology. The great news was that they were able to reschedule me to have surgery the same day with the downside being that I had to take an Uber (which they reimbursed the trip there) to Brooklyn, which was 1 hr 15 min away. I accepted without question and Dr. Aleksandrovich was able to do the case. The surgery was only mildly uncomfortable but he was great at putting me at ease during the whole case, which was less than 10 minutes. Other than some discomfort on the day of the surgery, I have been feel inggreat and I now have 20/15 vision. I would highly recommend and am very happy with the outcome. Thanks so much for an excellent experience.

  My sister in law raved about her experience here and I’m glad I listened! Highly recommend LVI to anyone for their corrective vision surgery! The staff here are absolutely amazing; highly knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Dr. Shalom the optometrist was wonderful and answered every single question. The surgeon himself did feel a bit rushed but to be fair there was a literal tropical storm happening and I think he was trying to get the patients home quickly and safely. He still explained every step of the procedure and made sure to count down every part of the process. Ethan the surgical assistant noticed me freaking out a bit and even gave me a little stuffed animal to squeeze which was surprisingly helpful. I am not even one full day post op and my vision is 20/20!
