What a waste of time. First, 8+ months for an initial appointment, then it's at an office different from the closest location. Then, get a text to sign up for the patient portal, then they call to cancel your appointment due to insurance -indicated that we had other insurance, call back to rectify the situation and kept getting switched to the wrong office, after indicating which office it actually was.
This place seems to be quite disorganized, in my opinion, and after wasting all the time and energy that I did, I have found my experience with winning smiles to be completely frustrating at this point and don't know that I'm even going to bother to proceed with them, or just find a totally different practice...

I took my kids out of school early, left work early, arrived at winning smiles for my children’s dental appointment and the receptionist proceeded to tell me that my children’s appointment was cancelled. She stated that the dental hygienist called off. I asked them why they didnt call me, and they stated that they did. I 100% did not receive a call. It was a major inconvenience. They then proceeded to tell me that they can’t get me in until 2026 for a 4pm appointment, I have been going there for years and ALWAYS had a 4pm appointment. Because they cancelled my appointment and did not call me, I not only used PTO, took my children out of school but now my girls cannot get a cleaning until next year. I will be leaving this practice.

My child has been a patient for several years, I never experienced an issue here like I did this evening. We arrived to our 4:30pm appointment 10 minutes early, we checked in. I was called up to the desk and told they called me this afternoon and because I didn't answer they couldn't confirm our appointment. I was sent a text a few days ago and I confirmed then we are coming to our appointment! I also called back 2x today after I saw a missed call and I left a vm again confirming we are coming
The receptionist confirmed we are ok to be seen. We sat and waited another 20 min and a patient who walked in after us was called back, I went up to the desk to find out why we were skipped and I was told they couldn't see us
The explanation was rude and inappropriate
I was told because there last hygienist appt was for 4pm today
So why would your place book a 4:30 and why didnt you notify me the minute I signed in
I left my job an hour early today to bring my chikd to an appointment I booked 6 months ago
Something didnt seem right, there was no apologies just excuses and pretty much made me feel like either book another time or oh well!! I hope Dr Mike reads these reviews because it will only hurt the practice as customers find other options And sometimes the Dr/ owners may not realize exactly how their customers are being treated until we speak up

we had an apt for 11/10 at 830am. We showed up only for them to tell me that my apt was cancelled because no confirmation was given, mind you the apt was set since July I showed them the message with the apt apt date and time and they still didn’t see us. I drove from Niagara Falls so it’s safe to say I wasn’t happy and she missed a day of school for no reason. The lady at the desk was very dismissive and scheduled it for another day during the week so now I have to miss out on work do to them not doing their job. I was never called or received any email regarding the apt being cancelled. Do better !!

My Mom and Dad took me to Winning Smiles today to get my teeth cleaned. I agreed on the premise there would be toys and maybe a decent movie to watch while we waited to be seen. The toys were busted, the crayons were broken, all the sheets were already colored on and the movie finished and another didn’t come on. I’m 2 and I can only be so patient.
I can’t tell time, but I can tell you that we were kept waiting waaaaaay too long. My Mom said I was supposed to be seen at 10:30 but it was after 11:30 before they called my name, and then once the first lady was done it was another 20 minutes before the big dentist came to see my teeth. When we got back out to the waiting room most of the people I was waiting with were still there and they looked sad that they had to wait so long too. My Dad has some things he’d like to say now.

I can’t think of anything redeeming about our first (and last) visit to Winning Smiles, other than the hygienist being understanding with our son’s lack of patience after waiting well over an hour to be seen. This was also the third time my son’s initial visit was rescheduled going back to early July due to staffing shortages. We should’ve known better after 2nd time, but several friends have recommended Winning Smiles and we value their opinions. Come to find out, our friends have recently had sub-par experiences as well. I’m not sure who’s “running” these offices but at this rate they’ll be rapidly losing smiles and clients. We won’t be back, nor would I ever recommend anyone go here who’s looking for a pediatric dentist. Save yourself and your children time and grief and go literally anywhere else.
