The new double covid doors to get in via qr code are stupid! Slows you down coming and going. Treating everyone like a criminal for trying to get in a workout.

Genuinely a top three worst gym in NYC contender.
Overcrowded. Move to puregym is terrible. The same particular guys who literally take four sets of dumbbells at a time for curls (at the most crowded hours). People who scroll their phones for 6 minutes in between sets while on a squat rack.
Like…. how is this place real. Anyone considering becoming a member should absolutely take their business elsewhere.
Only good thing is that like 2-3 of the front desk staff members are cool.

PUREGYM is letting us in the neighborhood down ALREADY. Sundays the site says the gym opens at 7am. I’m currently standing outside with a group of at least 10 people waiting for the doors to open…it’s 7:10 and counting!

I hate the men who work at this gym, they wander into the women’s locker room while we’re in there changing and stood there arguing when we called them out and they invade personal space even when it’s a safety risk. Literally just had a personal trainer come set weights behind me in my landing space while I was doing handstands and then argue with me when I told him it was unsafe to do that. The male staff here makes me so uncomfortable I usually walk an extra 20 minutes to the broadway location.

Janitors will stand right next to your machine while you are working out and talk to their friends, extremely annoying and unsafe when working out especially on treadmills. They also clean the bottom of the treadmills while you are on them, dangerous activity when you are at high speeds
