This place has continued its decline since the PureGym takeover. There's now multiple broken pieces of equipment, holes in the floor, and dirt everywhere. They’ve eliminated the apple card feature from the old app that allowed tap to enter, and now require you to open the PureGym app every time. Previously I could leave my phone at home and just use my Apple Watch - no more.
PureGym has made an effort to "improve" the space by installing two "booty" machines that no one uses, along with massive signage announcing them. The machines and signage take up incredibly valuable space on the second floor, to the point where it's challenging to stand there when waiting for a squat rack. Should have just installed another squat rack! They are always in demand.

This place is absolutely horrible —find another gym to work out or be harassed regularly! Blink (or Pure Fitness) has launched an aggressive marketing campaign to force its members to download their app. It feels like coercion because they’re requiring you to do this or else you won’t be allowed to enter the facility.
The right thing to do would have been to inform members about these changes before renewing their yearly memberships. Instead, they just imposed this new policy without notice. I’ve been harassed for the last three months to download the app. This has happened at least three times already—each time they decide there’s a new app you have to install on your personal device, and they harrass you with the worst attitude every time you enter the gym
I joined the gym to use their equipment in exchange for a monthly and yearly fee. I never agreed to download their app onto my personal phone. Their insistence makes me think this new app might be collecting personal data to sell it. If it were only about signing in, they wouldn’t be so outrageously persistent about it. Or they would just simply make other options available like a scan key chain.
So, this will be my last year. I’m very much looking forward to ending my contract with Blink.

Just joined this gym online and went in for the first time. I was shocked to find that there are no paper towels / spray / cleaning supplies or even hand sanitizer anywhere. A lot of the equipment is sticky and sweaty. I have never been to a gym where there is not a culture of wiping things down after use and honestly, its pretty gross. Pure Gym is not giving pure vibes. What is going on here?

Walked in today ready to work out and hoping to get a membership at this location. Person running the front desk told me they had no clue what it costs to get a membership and that I should download the app. I had looked up the prices the day before and seen a promo code that would have allowed me to get a membership with no sign up fee, but wanted to try in person to see if there was a local deal. The person working at the front desk had no clue if there were any promos, and when I told them about the one I had seen told me I should try it on the app. I did and it didn't work.
Then they finally looked up the promo and informed me it ended yesterday. I was so frustrated by the entire experience that I walked out, down the street and to the nearby Planet Fitness, which was both a significantly better deal and much cleaner.
I would have preferred this gym as it is closer to my home, but if the staff literally can't sign you up for a membership than what is the point? This gym was half the cost two years ago and at least then you were greeted by people who made half an attempt to be kind. This location is an embarrassment.
