  I was referred here for bilateral impacted cerumen. The nurse practitioner used a vacuum method instead of water to clear out my ears. She explained that a vacuum is better because (I can't remember the way she explained but basically) they generally don't want to put water in the ear as it's hard/impossible to get every droplet out. She told me about the process and about how the ear works. It was fun to learn and she was really knowledgeable. I also learned that my ear canals are not the same size and she explained that humans are not as symmetrical as we would think. I thought that was fascinating. I had allergy testing and that went okay. Upon my followup with Dr Tan, I did feel like I was having a salespitch for allergy shots. And according to my test results, my allergies aren't even that bad. Looking at the website and the waiting room, there's a lot of advertising. Botox, allergy shots, etc. I guess that's fine, those things are helpful for a lot of people. But my initial concern was kinda forgotten (the reason I was there), but maybe that's my fault for not being assertive enough. I do wish either my primary office or one of the folks here would have told me my insurance wasn't accepted, because with the appointments and the allergy testing it was quite a hit. Oh well. Regardless, the staff was nice and no complaints there. I probably would have given 3 or 4 stars, but I want to help average out your 1-star rating from that one person 7 years ago who didn't even write anything and just said haha, 1 star.
