I had such an amazing positive experience here. Juliette is an amazing nurse practitioner. Everyone is so nice and helpful and so gender affirming. They use all my correct pronouns and it makes me feel so good. I always leave feeling so good about myself and then visit. I highly recommend them for the care they give.

Had a great experience getting my Mirena IUD. No complications so far post-procedure. The nurse was patient when I was deciding which one I wanted. Not too long after that, my IUD was inserted by the Nurse Practioner, Kim Nolan, who skillfully answered all my burning questions with a patient-centric mindset. She is knowledgeable and experienced, so it assured me I was going to have a good experience. Sure enough, she helped me stay calm and do deep breaths during the procedure. I will say that I did take 800mg of Ibuprofen an hour before, so that also helped when I was getting those IUD cramps. The phlebotomist was also sweet!

Planned parenthood was the reason why I was able to get HRT therapy in the first place, and is now the reason why I will no longer be able to receive it. They let me know today that they are no longer in contract with United Healthcare, this was completely unbeknownst to me after I had driven an hour and a half down to Reno for this appointment. They could have called me and their other patients booked through UHC in advance after they ended their contract, but instead chose to be irresponsible and chose to fail their UHC dependent patients. Shame on Planned Parenthood.

I am transmasculine and have received HRT from this clinic for over four years now- my wife is transfeminine and has received HRT for two years. The whole time, staff has been nothing but accommodating, friendly, and patient, as we are from rural NV and cannot go in person. Dr Kim Nolan is such a friendly and caring NP with wonderful bedside manner who connects with you on a personal level instead of just seeing a name on a chart. She gave me a referral to a top surgery clinic that took just as much care of me. he front desk staff are also lovely - Jackie especially is very kind and patient. Whether you are receiving sexual health services or HRT, I really can’t recommend Planned Parenthood enough!

Remember when planned parenthood was a safe and free place you could go to for help? After going here for the last 14 years, I was turned away today because they said my health insurance was no longer accepted due to DIFFERENT POLITICAL VIEWS. They no longer accept UHC along with a list of other insurances because they don’t like what they have to say politically and don’t care for them. That is ABSURD!!! Absolute disgusting what this world has come to.
