- JSjoey serdozFeb 3, 20221.0I bought a $2,600 pair of Maybach sunglasses that had a fault when cold. Both temples fell off the frames because of change in weather. I had my assistant go down to the store to get the warranty paperwork going so I can get this fixed and wear my new shades that I enjoyed wearing. When he arrived at the store he talked to Hillary the store manager, and she laughed in his face saying that there is no way that this was a defect on the glasses and assumed that I must of sat on the frames. This is a crazy assumption especially since the rest of the frame is intact and both temples fell off in the same exact spot. Hillary said while he was there "that both Maybach and Optica seriously value their clientele and want their clients to be taken care of and treated respectfully". I find this hard to believe because my assistant received a call and was told that the frames were going to cost me half the original price out of my pocket. This has been extremely disappointing and a stab in my back because I have been a recurring client for years. I will have to take my business elsewhere. If there was an option to give a zero star review I would, but unfortunately one star is the lowest Google allows me to go.
