  This so called Periodontist has the compassion of a rock. Not only did he cause my sister physical pain he caused her emotional distress as well. What medical personal ignores a patient's distress and anxiety and stops the procedure and sends the patient home in a bloody mess. Shame on him. I will be sending this to the Colorado Dental Board. And don't use a lame excuse of safety, you should have recognized her distress and attempted to deal with it to assure good patient care but instead you threw her out. Oh yeah AFTER taking her $.

  My experience here was outstanding! I was referrred to Dr Parker by many of my friends. He and his staff are warm and caring and fun! The treatment was gentle and according to my general dentist “beautiful work”. He gave me several options and I feel he offers a good value. The office is pristinely clean, modern and all equipment is state of the art. I will continue to have Dr Parker monitor all my Dental needs, thats how much I trust him!

  My experience with Dr. Parker has been absolutely wonderful. I honestly do not understand the other reviews because I have gotten extensive work done over many years (20+) and my experience has been everything but what was described. He has excellent bedside manner, is extremely qualified (by far the most qualified Periodontist in New Mexico) and his staff is courteous and professional. I also have many friends in the community who have gone to him and have all been extremely happy with their experiences. As well, I have been to other dentists who have recommended extraneous and unnecessary surgery where Dr. Parker has always put my well being in front of his own in recommending only what is necessary and does not jump to expensive work so that he can benefit. One of his most endearing qualities apart from his precision and experience is his ability to put me at ease and make me feel comfortable going to the dentist as to not make it an awful and scary event. I have extreme fear of dental work and he is utterly calming and reassuring. I could not recommend him enough.

  2025* Dr Ghiassi the new owner is a much better doctor with a bona fine personality. I am updating my review of this place. This Dr. Parker needs to retire and fast. There are so many nice, happy and caring periodontists in Santa Fe. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere or ask your general dentist for a referral. There is no need to put up with his outdated practices and beliefs
