As a parent, the staff here made me feel terrible- and I am not a bad parent. I left the appointment crying! My son was scheduled for sedation after being seen a couple times in the summer for a cavity that the dentist put sealant on. Sedation was scheduled then come to find out after I called to confirm that the dental office (formerly a to z) had closed and patients were moving to Dr. Aragon’s private practice office- however the appt was unavailable so we had to delay it again for a month. Sedation day comes and a few red flags- the receptionist was the one doing pre procedure vitals and assessment (staff kept trying to check my 2 year old’s bp with an adult wrist cuff- unsuccessfully obviously). Receptionist was the one that gave sedation medication (unsure of her credentials). Honestly, the receptionist was the nicer person on staff that day. My son was taken back to a room a strapped in a papoose and I couldn’t be in there with him. He was tired but still upset. After all of that, they told didn’t do any work on him. They told me that an appointment was missed for cleaning, but I was never notified that such appointment was made. And he was still seen by a dentist twice in the summer, so I am unclear as to why they didn’t do that while he was seen. And then I was told while he was sedated that there was too much work that needed to be done so they just brushed his teeth, took some crappy x-rays and made us schedule for hospital. This should’ve been assessed before he was sedated, especially if it was a different dentist that was doing the work than who saw him over the summer. (I wasn’t with him at the appointments. My husband was in the summer.) I left crying and frustrated so I got a second opinion and I am so glad I did. The opinion was the same with the other dental office, but I got a call about a week before scheduling that this office is no longer seeing patients. I am not sure what is going on here. 😵‍💫

I was happy with this dentist for a while. Everyone seemed friendly and most things ran smoothly (with the exception of annoying paperwork that seems to be redundant and a bit annoying). But this last appointment I was a little turned off my the automatic text message sent out saying that the appointment would be canceled if I didn’t confirm and them scheduling me during a day the office was closed. I understand why a policy for confirmation may be needed when too many people do not show up but this was new and seems like a policy change like this should have been sent in more than just a generic text message. I did confirm the appointment and got the text stating the appointment was confirmed (and had done this a few weeks prior over the phone). My kids and I showed up for the appointment and the office was closed. I figured that since it was likely the first appointment of the day, maybe they were running late so we waited, but after 30 min, no one showed up. I was also not the only person there waiting for the office to open up. I called left a voicemail and didn’t get a response to the voicemail until Monday. The voicemail I received did not include any type of explanation (only said to call them) so I tried calling back. The first time I called someone picked up and then hung up the phone. So I called again and it went to voicemail. I tried a couple more times over the next couple of days and could not get anyone on the phone so I sent an email. I still have not gotten a response or an explanation a week later. Maybe it’s too much to ask, but in my opinion, a mistake like this should have warranted some real effort on their part and not doing so leaves me feeling like I can no longer can trust this business to care for my children and will be taking them elsewhere

It was great. I was updated on everything and how long it would be. I was offered coffee, tea and chocolate milk if I was interested. We received the best customer service.
