The Intoximeter device appeared to be broken or malfunctioning, and the staff administering the test seemed inexperienced. They instructed me to blow into the device incorrectly, which caused the test to fail the first time. I was then required to repeat the breathalyzer twice before the machine finally registered a result. Despite the improper procedure and issues with the equipment, I was informed that I had “failed” the first test. I want to make it very clear that I have never smoked or consumed alcohol in my life, due to my religious beliefs. When another staff member later took over, they showed me the correct way to blow into the device. The first administrator had incorrectly instructed me to hold my breath for 30 to 45 seconds, which is unreasonable and physically difficult. With the correct instructions, the test was successfully completed within 5 to 10 seconds, proving that the earlier process was handled improperly.
