  The front desk experience here was extremely disappointing. I tried to schedule my first appointment, and from the very first phone call, the woman at the front desk was noticeably negative and unnecessarily pushy about me “showing up on time.” As a first-time patient, it felt unfair and uncomfortable to be spoken to as if I would be unreliable. Today, I called again to ask whether my insurance had been verified by the office. My plan is through a corporate provider with no out-of-network benefits, and most PT offices these days verify insurance for new patients. Instead of checking or giving any guidance, she responded with, “How would I know that? It’s your job. Just bring your insurance.” At that point, I decided to cancel my appointment. The lack of professionalism and courtesy from the front desk made it clear that I would feel uncomfortable continuing treatment here. The doctor may be great, based on other reviews, but the front office desperately needs better management and training. First impressions matter, and this kind of customer service will absolutely drive new patients away.

  Simply put, if you have been suffering from chronic pain, there is no where better to go. Over the last twenty years, I've had my painful hips evaluated and treated at many different facilities, renowned and recommended by close friends. No amount of physical therapy or treatments helped, and I felt even more despondent when told by an orthopedic surgeon at Columbia Medical Center that I may eventually need a hip replacement surgery. Chronic pain diminished the quality of my life and took a huge toll on my psycho social well-being... and the saddest part of all this is that I learned to become comfortable with the situation. When a friend first recommended this place to me, I felt reluctant to go because I was certain that my experience will only reinforce my sense of hopelessness, waste my valuable money and time. With my wife begging me to try this place, one day I finally caved in. And holy cow... I almost cried with joy after my first treatment with Dr. Lee, walking out of his clinic completely PAIN-FREE. The clicking in my hips disappeared almost completely after one visit with him. I have been to many different places and have encountered many different acupuncturists, but Dr. Lee is VERY special. Many of the acupuncturists you will encounter on google are "so-so". But Dr. Lee is a rare breed, and I can't overstate how gifted he is. I can now interact much more fully with my young children and exert myself to a new level at my workplace. He is no ordinary acupuncturist... if you give him a chance, you will quickly see for yourself that he incorporates different areas of Eastern and Western medicine. I am certain that the results you see will be more profound and quick than any other place you've been.

  Amazing near instant improvement from nearly totally incapacitating lower back pain. Suffered for a few days and in one session I'm in no pain with great mobilty where i could barely move 2 hours earlier. I sh°t you not. I'm very grateful. Thank you Thomas.
