When I arrived, I was told by Concentra that they had not received my information from my employer and that I would need to find a babysitter for my daughter. Initially, I thought this may have been an issue on my company’s end. However, while I was in the waiting room for over two hours, I witnessed numerous other individuals experiencing the same issues—being told they needed babysitters and that their companies had not provided the necessary information. My employer was able to contact Concentra within 20 minutes and confirmed that the issue was on Concentra’s end. During this time, the front desk staff appeared unprofessional; I overheard one employee call another a “jackass” while gossiping. I also observed another individual who had been waiting for a long period of time and, when he finally approached the desk, was told they had forgotten about him. Additionally, another person completed their online check-in and waited for an extended time before staff realized they had not received it. Overall, the office was very unorganized and extremely slow. One of the front desk employees did have a pleasant attitude, but the overall work ethic was poor. I strongly recommend consistently checking in with staff to ensure you are not forgotten and that they have received your information.
