I was petrified to get my 3rd IUD (I came for a removal and insertion) due to previous experiences that were not the best, and she immediately calmed my nerves. Her reassurance and compassion made it truly the best. For anyone who is scared- don’t be! They do everything they can so you can have a positive experience. Thank you all at planned parenthood! Such a warm and welcoming staff!!

It was not easy nor a quick decision: however, I knew what was best for not only my child but myself and the father. For the safety of the father myself and the children of the child, I had to make a choice. Does not make my choice easy nor that my choice had no thought there were many nights, weekends, days; however you want to classify it. I had to make a decision. On the well-being of not only my ex-boyfriend, or what I think is more important the future of what would’ve been my child or children I don’t know. This society is too quick to judge. I never want to raise a family or child in an environment as hostile as my relationship with the dad. Twins run in my family and I was too scared to find out if the choice I made for my family and myself would impact the fetus of one or two. So I never found out. It is a hard choice to make. I do not wish that on anyone else. I am now and a healthy and stable Relationship. However I am still apprehensive on starting our family because seat down I feel guilt. However, I do not have regret my decision on my previous years. It is important to know where you are in life and why are you want to be, Mostly as a female in this society before you make a complete decision on your future.
