- LZLacy ZiembaDec 16, 20252.0I've been with L street family dental (formerly para family dental) for over 7 years now. I loved Dr. Hartnet. He made me feel comfortable with my dental work i needed done. I even switched my children. But now they are choosing not to accept patients with Medicaid, even if you have other health insurance that will be used first and Medicaid as a supplement only, and even if youve been a patient of theirs for YEARS. This is disappointing and says alot about your business when you build a relationship with your patients then just put them out because of what they have to have for insurance. Also when I called they said this is starting the new year, which is in 2 weeks. I only know because I called and asked because my daughter was set to have a cleaning but had to have xrays for wisdom teeth, they did the trays then told her oh by the way we are canceling your cleaning next year. Had she not told me, I would not have known. Open enrollment for insurance is always at the end of the year and is now closed. This information should have been told prior to that because I made sure he accepted medicaid when I did my changes. Very disappointed.

Needless to say, no place has come close to taking care of my dental needs like this place does. Dr Braden especially is very thoughtful, considerate and patient in her care. Also, kudos to the front office staff for always being prompt and very efficient!

Going to the dentist can be a scary thing, but with the right dentist you can’t go wrong. She is very professional and I appreciate that while also being kind and very gentle!!! Could not recommend anyone better!
