If you can be seen by Dr. Brimage, do it. She is one of the most thorough and kind Drs I've spoken with.

Every time I’ve visited the Mebane urgent care until now the service has been incredible. But today I was told I could sit and wait in my car and I’d receive a message indicating I was ready to be seen. We sat for 2 hours and I got no message, so we came in to check the status and a nurse somewhat aggressively told me that she called me twice and that because I ignored her I’d have to wait another few hours. I apologized but promised her I never got a call and even showed her my phones call logs, which were empty. She continued to tell me there was nothing she could do and that I should’ve paid better attention. We were here from 9am-1:45pm. My nurse was named Toquina, and as far as I know she doesn’t usually work at this office. I understand that the we’re understaffed but I didn’t appreciate the way I was spoken to.

I came in regarding my foot and ankle. The only focus was on my foot and how they were flat and I need new shoes. I rotate through MULITPLE shoes that has support for flat feet that I’ve been living with all my life. I was given a steroid shot for the inflammatory. I feel great this morning beside my ankle still around weak with no stability as I stated in my appointment. Now this is another appointment to another urgent care so I can be able to atleast walk properly at work.

They really need to change the word 'urgent' in Urgent Care to 'need' as in Need Care because there wasn't anything 'urgent' about receiving the care that was provided at this location. First off, I'm a mother of 6 children and as a parent, if one child gets sick, they all get sick. So after dealing with one of my kids staying sick for the last 3 weeks, I went to my nearby urgent care to have her seen to hopefully find out what was causing her sickness and get advice on how to prevent and resolve this lingering sickness. I made an appointment for 1:45pm thinking that would give me enough time to have her seen, pick up any prescriptions and be home in time to make dinner before my husband came home from work at 6pm. Sadly, this was not the case. After we checked in and did the normal waiting in a nearly empty waiting room of only two people who came in together, they called us back where we ended up waiting for an hour and a half before the doctor came, then another hour for a nurse to come take blood and do a couple tests and another hour and a half for the doctor to come back into the room, sharing that he had absolutely no idea what was wrong with my daughter other than she had swollen lymph nodes and her nose was stuffy. By the time we left, we had been there exactly 4 hours not including the time we waited for the appointment time to arrive. The staff at this location wasn't rude at all but very much the opposite and the care we received was great. But the wait was unbelievable and unnecessary. I even went out of our room to ask a nurse how much time it would be as nobody had come to check in on us and she simply replied that it would be a few more minutes. Sadly, it was another hour. Now I clearly have lots of patience as most people would not have waited that long without putting up a stink about it, but I was trying to give them the benefit of a doubt that maybe they were in fact busy, even without seeing or hearing a bunch of people coming in and going out or maybe they had a lot of 'true' urgent cases that needed addressed whereas ours wasn't 'urgent' enough, but to have us wait 4 hours seems a bit ridiculous. We left at 5:45pm and all the way home, I was trying to reevaluate dinner because I now didn't have the time to make my original plan. I don't recommend coming to this location if you have plans for the rest of your day unless they are plans to wait. In fact, I would avoid this place all together if you aren't a patient person or can't afford to spend hours of your time waiting while the staff does who knows what.
