  This is, without a doubt, the best and most reasonably priced optical shop I’ve ever found. I was having problems with the apparent thickness of my lenses made at other places. A neighbor referred me to Gary at Bowen. Gary made lenses for me that both looked and functioned better, for a reasonable price too! Ever since I always go back to Bowen and all the members of my family too, adults and children. I get true personal service with fast completion. If I or my children break something, they usually repair it right way, while I wait (of course,if it can be fixed-children!). I haven’t gone anywhere else for years now.

  Everyone I have ever referred to Bowen Optical has come back more than pleased by their experience. When they moved into my building I wondered who in the world would find them since they aren’t on the main drag. Then I saw their selection of high fashion frames at low fashion prices and began to understand why someone would seek them out. In addition to quality and price the service is excellent. You won’t find nicer folk than Gary Bowen and his staff. And another plus? Bowen Optical is owned by someone in the local community who pays taxes and tithe locally, someone who cares about and sponsors our local schools and community events. It means the money stays here in OUR community.

  Dale was awesome in helping my daughter and I pick out our frames! I got my first progressive lenses and couldn’t read much from the bottom, so Gary Bowen remade my lenses twice and got them just right! They definitely care about the customer and go above and beyond! A great experience for sure!

  I recently had an unfortunate accident involving a pair of Wal-mart Vision Center glasses I had owned for over 2 years. They were destroyed, and I needed help and fast. I called Gary on a Friday afternoon just as places were starting to close for the weekend. My problem was that since it had been 2 years, I needed a new vision test along with glasses and I was afraid no one would have time to see me with such short notice. Also, with my experience with Wal-mart, I was expecting to have to settle for a temporary pair of contacts while my glasses would arrive a week or so later. To my amazement, he was able to work me in and I walked out with an updated Rx and glasses! He makes the lenses in-house, custom tailored to each customer!!! I didn't even know places did that. Ultimately I was extremely pleased with my experience. Gary and his team have my business from now on.
