  Went to get prescription safety glasses for my work and had a great experience! The staff is extremely kind and super attentive and helpful! I would recommend here over any other provider I’ve been to!

  Dec 2022. This is an owner operated establishment and is not a chain. They are a very caring and knowledgeable staff. The owner spent a lot of time with us and he answered a lot of questions. The lenses are made on site. Excellent experience, quality product and quality personnel. I have worn glasses for 70 years and this is the best of the best.

  I went to another optician and got my original prescription lenses. Multiple trips back trying to make them understand something was wrong with my lenses resulted in nothing but frustration. I struggled with those glasses a year with terrible eye strain, literal pain in my eyes, and constant frustration. Then I went to Gary Bowen who tweaked my lens prescription and made my first pair. OH MY GOODNESS! Almost immediate relief from the constant strain, no more struggling! Then, being a jeweler doing close up work, I had him make me a pair of "work" glasses. Using them at my work bench or on the computer is another OH MY GOODNESS! I feel normal and able to function again. It is so good to go through the day with some semblance of normalcy, without the eye strain and resulting stress. Don't struggle with the mass produced typical optical shop junk. THANK YOU to Gary Bowen and his great staff! VERY highly recommend!

  I recently had an unfortunate accident involving a pair of Wal-mart Vision Center glasses I had owned for over 2 years. They were destroyed, and I needed help and fast. I called Gary on a Friday afternoon just as places were starting to close for the weekend. My problem was that since it had been 2 years, I needed a new vision test along with glasses and I was afraid no one would have time to see me with such short notice. Also, with my experience with Wal-mart, I was expecting to have to settle for a temporary pair of contacts while my glasses would arrive a week or so later. To my amazement, he was able to work me in and I walked out with an updated Rx and glasses! He makes the lenses in-house, custom tailored to each customer!!! I didn't even know places did that. Ultimately I was extremely pleased with my experience. Gary and his team have my business from now on.
