- ARAmanda RobertsonMay 12, 20221.0Last Thursday I had an appointment scheduled for a consultation. I miss half a day of work to make the 1.5 hour drive there. I was told the appointment would take 2 hours and my eyes would be dilated so I had to arrange childcare so my husband could drive me. I get there 30 minutes early, they took me right in. When a worker came in the room she thought I had already had lasik, I said no, that's why I'm here. She said she needed to go check my chart. When she came back apparently they had someone else' stuff in my chart, said she corrected that. Strike one. Then she told me the doctor wasn't in but she could do the testing to see if I was a candidate and that he would call me on Monday. My appointment was over before my scheduled time. Now we are over two weeks past my appointment date and nobody has called me. I took off half a day of work, drove 3 hours round trip for basically nothing.
