Only go here if you want to sit for 5 hours with no end in sight and are ok with hearing the nurses and security laugh at you and other patients as if you can't hear them! The staff here is absolutely horrid none of you know how to help anyone in crisis and should ashamed of yourselves. If people saw the way I saw you treat others they would be disgusted. This place should be shut down or completely restaffed.

What a wonderful and pleasant experience.
Dr. Terrence Bethea was beyond amazing.
A doctor who has a wealth of knowledge but also as much consideration and human empathy. Give it a chance !!!

Two stars because the front staff was very nice and we waited less than anticipated to go back. However, everything else was atrocious. I’ll preface this with I’m a therapist and work with bed management for hospitals so I know a little about this. I understand why things are set up so minimal but it does feel like a prison and doors are left open so you hear everyone’s business and they hear yours. Not a great start. The NP, Roy, comes in without so much as a hello, just says I’m a provider why are you here. Very cold and poor bedside manner. I was there supporting a loved one and their outpatient provider called to provide some details and context. Roy comes back with a whole false story about my loved one’s being aggressive (not even close) and that they either commit voluntarily or are IVC’d. Our only luck was they needed additional treatment and were sent to Wesley Long. We waited 3 hours for safe transport, only to find out from the hospital that this facility didn’t call them until 5 minutes before arrival. Also in those three hours, they did none of the necessary lab work. The hospital MD was livid. Multiple staff told us don’t bother going back there, they are never good. Needless to say, don’t be like me who read the reviews and thought well the negative ones may not mean they’re that bad. No, they are that bad.
