    I had surgery on Dec. 19th and decided to stay overnight. The entire team from start to finish took really good of me. Nurse Debbie and Nurse Dawn, the two nurses assigned to my recovery room, were awesome! I appreciate you ladies for delivering exceptional care and compassion. I felt safe and secure while in their care. These nurses rock!! They showed compassion when they spoke, while assisting me to and from the bathroom, even when tucking me back in bed. The care delivered made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. I'm truly thankful for having such amazing nurses watch over me and care for me during my stay at the surgery center of Wesley Long Hospital. This type of treatment from nurses who really care makes everything about recovery nice and easy. Thank you so much Debbie and Dawn!! I will forever be grateful! Happy Holidays❤️ ~Khadija Oliver~

    I had minor, outpatient surgery on 3/3/2023. The staff was very nice and the surgery went well. The problem is the ridiculous charges (from Cone). I was handed a small tube of Lidocaine as I was leaving along with a couple of plastic items. I'm on Medicare but don't have Part D. Cone charged $499 for this tube of Lidocaine that can be purchased online everywhere for under $20. When I called to complain (since I hadn't asked for it and they gave it to me as if it were a free sample and didn't even administer it) I was told that the charge was billed correctly. When I asked who I could complain to or dispute the charge with I was hung up on. It's charges like this that infuriate patients! I tried going on mychart to get an estimate of my surgery charges and their estimator doesn't work. I even tried getting an estimate for Lidocaine and mychart said it wasn't found so there's no way a patient could possibly know the crazy charge ahead of time. I'd avoid using Wesley Long (or Cone in general) until they are more transparent with the charges patients can expect.
