I have a history of brain cancer, making this test especially important. I stayed awake all night and arranged for my sister to drive me from Hillsborough, as I was told not to drive. At 7:07 AM—just eight minutes before my 7:15 AM appointment—I was informed it was canceled because the only available EEG tech was out. This lack of communication is unacceptable. Even worse, I was required to sign paperwork demanding 48 hours' notice for any cancellations—yet they gave me eight minutes. As a nurse, I understand the system, but this showed no regard for patient care or basic professionalism. Extremely disappointed.
