Lebauers slogan ought to be "we'll get around to you eventually if youre still sick by then" based on how difficult it has proven to be to get an appointment for a sick visit over the past year. Or maybe "good enough for government work?" Its beyond frustrating, and the schedulers are always listening for keywords to dump you over onto a triage nurse and not schedule you, regardless of what you're trying to say. The doctors are fantastic when youre actually allowed to see them tho. The pandemic seems to have permanently altered the way doctors offices view patients, and not in a good way. There is very much an "us versus them" feel to it now, which is sad considering its been over for years now. I like my doctor too much to leave, but I dont feel like I matter to Lebauer corporate at all.

I've had mixed experiences with this place. Dr. McElwee is great, very caring, thorough and knowledgeable. Scheduling needs some work. They are very strict on their missed appointment policies and will remove you from the practice after 3 strikes, but most of the time it is their own errors that they count against you to remove you from the practice. The first time we ever missed an appointment was because the doctor was sick and they moved our appointment. I was not aware and was not even able to make the new appointment that was set. The second time we missed, about 6 months later, was completely my fault. This last one was ridiculous. I clearly remember calling and setting up the appointment for 1:40 p.m. and I am meticulous at putting appointment times and reminders in my phone while they are being set. So we went into the appointment at 1:35 p.m. and the appointment reminder that was on my phone was for 1:40 p.m. they said we were late and the appointment was actually for 1:20 p.m. this is false, I clearly remember setting this appointment. They would not see my son that day because we arrived at 1:35 and claimed we were late and I had the appointment time wrong, and a day later we got a notice that he has been kicked out of the practice. One last complaint is that this office has rescheduled our appointments due to doctor calling out more than any medical office i have ever been to. In the past year it has happened several times. All I have to say is that scheduling needs work and I see I am not the only person to leave a similar review with the same issues. You lose a lot of patients due to your own incompetency in scheduling and management.

I was really disappointed in this practice. They’ve repeatedly given us inconsistent information about the services and testing they offer. The physicians and staff aren’t in communication with one another, which makes accessing care unnecessarily difficult for patients.
