    I don’t like having to put a negative review because my primary care doctor of 20+ years, but after several eye popping poor experiences with administrative staff, I feel the need to warn others. There is no sense of urgency to properly address or follow up on your health concerns. Today I called to simply check on the status of a refill I hadn’t heard anything on in 48 hours. The front desk receptionist listened to me, put me on hold, then someone else picked up and asked me what I was calling about. I said that I had just explained my situation to the previous receptionist and that I needed an update on my refill status. Margaret IMMEDIATELY copped a ratchet attitude with me and said “The doctor is allowed 3-5 days to fill your prescription, so she has a couple more days to take care of this”. I told her this is my first time ever hearing of such a policy for this office and she mouthed back “WELLL I’ve been a receptionist for 25 years and this has always been policy”. First of all, I’m pretty sure this was a straight up LIE, because I have NEVER encountered a doctor’s office where it is acceptable for there to be an up to FIVE DAY lapse in filling prescriptions. People have health conditions where a five days lapse in medications would cause serious complications, up to and including death. I also work in a doctor’s office, and I can guarantee that if I displayed even half of Margaret’s utter contempt and disregard towards a patient, I would probably be out of job. Margaret sounded in every way like she is very overdue for retirement. Totally unacceptable treatment of patients.

    Horrible experience. I was 1 minute past their window and I was trying to come in as a new patient (waited 2 months for this appointment). Life happens and I have a sick infant I had to find care for so I could make my appointment. But they don’t care. Save yourself the headache and find a family practice and not some automated robot like interaction. It was like they read from a script to turn me away. Never have I experienced anything like this. This type of place makes you lose all hope in our medical system. It’s as if they’re not human on the other side of that glass. Quite sad how they operate.

    It’s so hard finding good healthcare these days. I like my provider Betty Jordan, however the staff at this location is a joke! Very unprofessional, gossiping behind the glass and not very attentive to patients! They use a call center to schedule appointments. That was fine, except I was booked for a physical when that’s not what I requested. The day of my appointment I was told I was given a call around 1pm(appointment was at 145) that the Dr was not going to be able to do my physical. I was confused bc like I said, I never scheduled a physical. One of the front desk attendants, “found” an appointment for me the same day for 2pm. I sat down and waited being patient, bc I was “rescheduled” last minute due to the call center’s mix up. About 20 mins passed by and I had not been called. I ask the front desk how much longer do I have to wait and they responded with they are checking. Fast forward, 15 mins later the office manager came and told me they forgot about me and would ask the Dr if they could still see me. How do you forget a patient that’s been sitting in the front lobby the whole time in plain sight??!!!! After another 10 mins, I was called to be back by the office manager and was told that the provider wouldn’t be able to see be until 430! Upset did not even begin to describe my feeling at that point! Not only did they not schedule my appointment correctly, I was told they could still get a provider to see me on that same day and was “forgotten” about!!!! Very very very unprofessional! After that ordeal, I still had to wait about 10 mins for a doctors note since they wasted my time coming there! These ppl need to understand that we work just like they do! And had I been late to this same appointment, there would have been some type of reprimand. They need to be held to the same standards! I wish my provider had another office to see me and I wouldn’t have to come to this location at all!

    I would have been a new patient today, but they invoked the 10 minute late policy; but they admit I was only 9 minutes late. How does that make sense? The front office staff was incompetent (hopefully they were just new) and uncaring. I did call ahead to tell them I'd be a bit late, but apparently that meant nothing. Further proving incompetent, the new patient paperwork I received has specific paperwork for another patient, name, birthdate and MRN. TOTAL HIPAA violation. Poor Donald. The new patient paperwork did NOT talk about the 10 minute late policy, I had called to be respectful of the dr's time. Office Manager came out and said, "if you're worried about your blood pressure meds, we can prescribe those for you".... aahhh, I'm not on blood pressure meds, and really, I can't be 9 MINUTES late, but YOU CAN PRESCRIBE MEDS without seeing me? OH, and I wasn't offered another appointment, front desk person, couldn't find one. OH, come to find out 3 months ago, I could be a new patient, but today, they are not excepting any new patients. That's ok. I don't want to be your patient, you clearly are lacking office management capabilities and I wouldn't trust you to prescribe the right things or keep my info private. Total FAIL on LeBauer Brassfield. I will say nothing about the dr, I didn't get to see one.

    This is a mixed review. Though the care and kindness is great, the call wait time is HORRIBLE!!! Each time I call, I'm lucky to have my call answered before 20 mins. Today I called FOUR times and each call I was on hold from 10-16 mins before hanging up...a total of 50 minutes of trying to get through. NO ONE has time for that!!! Get more receptionists!!! Update: Since writing the previous review, the call time has improved immensely! 👍🏻
