  Dr. Hines is very kind, but the front desk staff is extremely rude and has a smart attitude. My appointment was at 8:00, and I had car trouble on the way. I called more than eight times to let them know what was going on—no one answered, I wasn’t able to leave a voicemail, and no one reached out to see if I was still coming. When I arrived at 8:20, the receptionist was rude and unkind. Considering they rescheduled my last appointment the morning of, the least they could have done was show some understanding about a situation I had no control over. Had someone simply answered the phone or called me back, I could have rescheduled sooner. As someone who works in a doctor’s office myself, I know what good customer service looks like, and this was not it.

  If I could give zero stars I would. My friend actually works at Cone and I was advised to check them out. I set up an appointment online and MyChart did not keep my appointment (things happen, no biggie.) The receptionist rudely called to explain this to me yesterday and continuously spoke in a tone of annoyance when I asked TWO basic questions such as, "are there any other providers available at this location in October and do you recommend somewhere else you like, I'm new to the area." COMPLETELY cuts me off to say they are booked for all of October and to google it. I was called again today by someone with a much kinder tone to explain the same thing to me. No communication was noted from the last (rude) receptionist, no surprise there seeing as how terrible she was yesterday. To the receptionist who caught my wrath today, I apologize.

  The worst office I’ve ever been to. Was told I had to wait over a week for something that needed to be treated immediately and they never call back and never answer their phones. Do not get treated here. You’re better off going somewhere else.
