One of the best processes. Everyone at the Durham location were the best. They were informative, reassuring, communicative, helpful, and VERY caring! I recommend LASIK 1000% and would absolutely recommend the Durham location. I would go nowhere else!

I had an appointment at 10:15 waited about 15 minutes left right at 10:31 just for the fact that from the beginning, when I walked in the experience wasn’t to the greatest, they just told me to check it into a piece of paper no acknowledgment afterwards and I finally walked up to the lady after 15 minutes, just to let her know that I was leaving and at that moment she decided to ask for ID and I’ll let her know that I was actually going to head out. I was like my appointment was at 10:15. I was like 10: 30 and she responded back. It’s only been 15 minutes. Which 15 minutes are 15 minutes regardless my time is valuable. I’m taking time out of my day to make an appointment miss Work and the fact that you can’t even respect my time, My 15 minutes didn’t leave a good impression. Office just seems very unorganized and the fact that I heard one of the employees saying to another employee so what’s your role here, honey are you in the OR or what ? very unprofessional. Doors open everywhere so I could hear other patients conversations - which I’m pretty sure it’s some type of HIPAA violation.

LASIK was easy to get through, and the entire staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I felt extremely comfortable in my doctor’s hands, and everyone was very supportive throughout the entire process. I had the procedure yesterday and am already able to walk around seeing without glasses or contacts. After wearing contacts for 25+ years, I needed freedom from the strain they caused. I’m very thankful for this place and would highly recommend them.

The surgeon was amazing the office is amazing and staff was super nice. This complaint revolves around their record department. My son has been trying to get a copy of his records since November 9th. He is waiting on these records so he can go into the Coast Gaurd. When he went for his medical clearance the Lasix surgery was never turned in on to be a part of his medical history. So since the center never filed it as a part of his medical history we needed the record. The first call made told us we needed a release form filled out so they can be released and sent which would take a few weeks. The center emailed the form it was filed out and sent on November 9th. This form says it could take 30 days. 30 days went by with no word. We called and was told it was still processing. Waited a few days called again and was told again it was still processing but it should be there soon. Waited a few more days this time asked to speak with the durham office since this is where the surgery took place. The very kind desk person said she would do what she could and get them in the mail that day. We waiting a full week nothing came. We called again this time asking for upper management. This manager said we needed to fill out a new form. We said no and sent the original and told them this had been going on since November 9th. We were than told they did not start the process until Nov 11th and was not sure why we had not received anything yet but would look into it. So for the past 6 days we have sent an email daily to check up on the progress. Some times we will get a response other times no response. Oh and we have been told, you can not pick records at the office, they must me mailed, the form says you can release to email. One person told us yes they can be emailed the next said no thet cant because it would not be encrypted. Another person said they could be picked up in the office to be told the records are a hard file and not digital and are stored in another building all together. It is 2025 I work in medical field and have never had this much trouble getting records. This is my sons personal health information and it is being with held from your company. Which is now affecting his ability to enlist. Will the person in charge contact me to gwt this cleared up in a very timely manor. I have also put in a report to the Better Business Bureau (even though they are not a part of the BBB)
