The tech or nurse however who took me back to do my testing and draw my blood seems like she did not want to be there or did not want to interact. She didn’t introduced herself And immediately began telling me the tasks I had to do. The most uncomfortable moment is when she was drawing my blood. She cleaned the site, then ripped off the pointer finger to her glove, then proceeded to touch it with her unloved hand And immediately stuck the butterfly needle into my arm. I had no time to protest because I didn’t think that she would clean a site and then touch it bare handed.. I didn’t say anything because at that point what CAN You say? With the flu season being upon us and multiple people walking in and out of an urgent care a day cleanliness should be upheld for the safety of the patients and also for the staff. The provider who saw me was very kind and answered any questions I had. Next time I will be sure to speak up even if I feel like I’ll sound annoying because I’m just lucky that I didn’t get sick or something not knowing how the rest of the office operates and how they uphold cleanliness when we’re not watching
