Dr. Nolan and his staff billed insurance $447 and charged me over $150 for an Ovation Medical Night splint that I could have bought on Amazon for $42. He also ordered 2 pairs of orthotics for me (despite me asking why I couldn't have just one) and charged me over $900 for them. These orthotics were poorly made and made my plantar fascitis WORSE. I stopped using them, got better footwear, and the plantar fascitis improved from not using the orthotics. His office refused to refund the orthotics. I got a bill for over $1000 for the orthotics and splint that did not work. No one on staff ever disclosed how much they would be charging for these devices, nor did they clarify that insurance would not cover them. All I got was a surprise bill for over $1000 with no indication of what it was for. They also charged me over $400 for a brace for my son that was so cheaply made it snapped in half with very light contact. Surely this brace (or something very similar) could be purchased on Amazon for a lot less. This practice does not disclose the amount the patient will end up paying, they refuse to give refunds for poor products, and rip off their customers with ridiculously inflated prices for medical devices you can easily purchase for much, much less elsewhere. Save your money and aggravation and do not go here.
