- RHRobert HillSep 23, 20251.0Do you have foot pain and too much money? Cone Health Triad Foot & Ankle Center in Burlington can help you get rid of one of those. (Hint: it's not the foot pain). I have plantar fascitis in both feet, and initially, I was impressed by the confidence with which my doctor recommended my treatment, after looking briefly at my feet: a shot in each foot (that was already in his shirt pocket when he entered the room), after the shots, afterwards they measured my feet for insoles. Two months, a second round of shots ($250 out of pocket each) and a pair of $500 insoles (not covered by my insurance) later, my feet still hurt as bad as they did when I walked in the door. The same custom insoles are available online. Don't waste your time or money here.

Regarding my visit, wait time was over and hour and a half past my appointment time, treatment was questionable, with unnecessary X-rays and an exorbitant bill considering service. Billing was a nightmare, with them repeatedly billing me for the entire amount before insurance paid their portion. I even emailed them my EOB twice and every time I called they had no idea what I was talking about and claimed they never received the EOB. They finally they sent it to collections, which I denied due to the fact that I never received a bill for the correct amount. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
