  I’m honestly still upset about what happened. My provider MD Simmons-Robinson canceled my appointment just one day before — after I had scheduled it two months in advance. That kind of last-minute cancellation felt incredibly inconsiderate and disrespectful of my time. I rearranged my schedule, made plans around this appointment, and to be dropped like that with no warning or explanation was just unacceptable. Or didn’t even at least give me a option to assign me with a different provider since this came up just so awful. But in the middle of all that frustration, MORGAN THANK YOU!! at the front desk was a total lifesaver. She was calm, patient, and incredibly professional. She didn’t just brush it off — she genuinely listened, understood how upsetting this was, and did everything she could to help. MORGAN immediately started working to get me rescheduled with another provider as soon as possible. She showed empathy, urgency, and care when I needed it most. Morgan turned a really disappointing experience into something I could walk away from feeling supported. She deserves all the recognition for how she handled this situation. Thank you, Morgan — you were the best part of today.

  Thought I should give another update as it has been OVER A YEAR since I left my first review and got an automated response telling me to contact them so they could make things right. Well, I called multiple times, left a voicemail, and NOTHING! So now, a year later, I am still being asked to pay a bill for an appointment that I logged onto and was told I WOULD NOT BE HELPED! Literally, she said “I am not helping you today.” And sent me a BILL. So yeah, don’t go here if you actually want to be helped. You’ll be out $70 and still have to go somewhere else.

  I had an incredible experience establishing care at Cone Health Burlington Family Practice this morning! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. Cassandra made check-in and check-out a breeze with her warm personality and playful banter—such a fun way to start and end the visit! My nurse, Helen, kept the energy going with great humor and kindness, making me feel comfortable right away. Dr. Andrews made a lasting first impression with a rare blend of empathy, intelligence, and genuine care. She listened thoughtfully, asked insightful questions, and made me feel truly seen and supported. It’s clear that this is a team of people who not only know what they’re doing—but truly enjoy doing it. I’m so glad I chose this clinic and genuinely look forward to my future appointments here. Highly recommend!

  The only reason I didn't give 1 star is b/c I love the Dr. I see & have been seeing for about 25 yrs. That said, I will second what a previous post said. Since Cone took over BFP, things have gone to pot. I just got off the phone w/a RUDE CSR, trying to get a message sent to Dr. Fisher's nurse, asking that he please look at the lab test he's been waiting on. It's important in determining next steps. The "B" hung up on me practically. I've a feeling she Won't be passing my message to his Nurse. I've been furious for a while now that Cone has had to complicate things by having people go thru their Call Center, just to make an appt. Or leave a message, that may or may not be returned. It used to be I could call the office directly & Carol, who is absolutely wonderful, would assist me. But no more...you have to friggin' pull eye teeth, just to to be seen, get messages sent to nurses, etc. It an asinine set-up! This said, I have had over the past couple of weeks, great interactions w/several nurses, over the phone. Sara & Andreika come to mind. Both were very compassionate & helpful. Cone has gotten too big 4 it's britches; swallowing up independent practices in the name of $$ (profit), & leaving the "common man" to fend for themselves. If you're wanting old fashioned great customer service, like in the "old days", you may want to consider looking elsewhere. I really hate posting this, but after the interaction I just had w/phone person, combined w/Cone's way of doing things, I feel I have no other choice. 😒
