It is so nice to have a place where you are greeted with a smile, and treated with kindness, respect, and quality medical care, when you not at your best. Even though I felt terrible, they made things as comfortable as possible, and everyone had the best attitudes that put me at ease. It was my first time there, but it will be my only urgent care, going forward, if ever needed it again

There was a notable shortage of staff at Asheboro's MedCenter, as well as a lack of actual testing for what I had. Despite the lack of a conclusive diagnosis, I was prescribed promethazine DM, a powerful prescription cough syrup and sedative. After taking two doses over the next day, I suffered two fainting spells and was admitted to the hospital, where I received an actual diagnosis. Overall, more care should've been taken in testing before prescribing such medications.

The first time I went to this facility was a great experience. This time was not. Took my mom the day after Christmas. We walk in and the receptionist is checking someone in. She looks at me and says it's going to be 2 hour wait and for us to have a seat. I said shouldn't we check in first? She said there is 3 people ahead to be checked in. I told her well how are we going to know who's next. She still said just sit down. We waited. A couple came in with 2 kids. Receptionist checked them in. Then a lady was sitting where we were and she said to me. "That guy came in after you did". So I when over and just stood until she was done checking him in. So I sit down. She started saying it was going to 3 to 4 hours. I said I thought it was 2. She said we only have one doctor. I said you have one doctor during flu season? I had went myself to urgent care in Randleman 2 days before. Small facility but they had 2 to 3 doctors, the room was full with patients and I was not there maybe 2 hours. So needless to say I call my primary doctor and she could get my mom in. We left Cone health urgent care and went to my doctor. Just disappointed. It's a beautiful building and great facility but needs better management. Maybe was just a bad day for them. I would probably try it again if I needed to.

I had a 2 1/2 hour wait to be seen. I went to the new Moses Cone on Spero Rd. There was only 1 PA at the Urgent Care. I was in pain and after the PA finally came in they were closing. She took maybe 3 mins in the room, wrote an antibiotic and sent me on my way. Half of my face was swollen with an abses. If im not 90% better in the AM Im headed to Wesley Long.

My visit here was no less AWESOME.note i was told 3 hr wait was a little dissapointed ther but from the time they slapped that id bracelet on at 11.16 till i was sitting with De at 12.09 not to bad. Just want to say GREAT job to all those who interacted and took care of me. Thank You all and MERRY CHRISTMAS to u
