We are so grateful for the excellent care my daughter received here. The treatment team worked very closely with each other and with me through this first step of our recovery journey. I want to say Thank you so much to all of those here at Monte Nido Clementine who do the hard work to physically and mentally heal our children. I was lost and humbled through this whole process, and the staff here have been amazing to keep the motion positive and guide us along the way. They truely saved my daughter from the deadly path she was on and started us down the road to healing and a healthy life moving forward. While the road to healing was not always easy and some days were very difficult for her, my daughter has told me now that she misses people there and that she too is grateful we had the opportunity to start our recovery journey at this place. She told me other residents had also let her know that other facilities they went to were no where near as good as Monte Nido Clemetine, and that the place she was in is Heaven in comparison. To those seeking care and help to get on the path to recovery we highly encourage you to reach out and talk to them, and we also wish you the very best in your own healing journey.

I’ve been trying to write this review for a while so I could explain to other people looking for residential treatment that Clementine is really not a good option, but it’s been really hard for me to think about and I genuinely think this place gave me PTSD. I’ve stayed in contact with a few other clients and they’ve also been trying to forget about it and avoid anything that reminds them of it. In my experience (although many of us agree) I was treated horribly by the staff there and was given really bad punishments when they couldn’t even explain what I had done wrong. We also weren’t allowed to say anything negative about the place so it was really hard to manage my emotions, especially since my therapist didn’t usually meet with me the 45 minutes twice a week I thought they were required to. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without my roommate because the rules about phone calls were so weird and limited so she was the only person that I could talk to about how horribly mistreated I felt there. This is getting long so I won’t go into much detail, but there was an incident where my parents knew that the program direct was lying to them about how I was acting there and things I said. Luckily, I have good parents that know how I act so they confronted her and she still denied it. Anyway, me and two other people got our outing taken away for some reason the program director wouldn’t explain, while the two other people got to go. So many other things have happened to me there that I wouldn’t wish on anyone, and I really do beg of you to not send your child here. From the time a new client walked in the door to the end of their first week there, you could just see all of their motivation go away. I also don’t feel that they helped with the outpatient transition at all so my mental health was really bad when I got back home. Please please literally choose any other place for residential! Oh also we were in a car accident in the company car there!

Sent my daughter here twice. The first time the experience was good, but she relapsed with her ED. The second time around she was miserable and the phone calls wanting to come home were more frequent. I get that addiction is up to the individual, but we send our children here to be helped with intense therapy not put through more misery. Here’s the deal the price these places charge insurance is astronomical they should have much more experienced staff on hand to work with clients. The turnover rate and the inexperienced “babysitters” add to the problems and drama. Again, these places are raking in the money. Hire more professional mental health specialist to give them much more 24HR attention. They are super nice when taking your money, but can’t recommend Monte Nido or Clementine.

My daughter was dropped off by her father and guaranteed an individualised program. She was told by a staff member that someone would be going through her luggage with her. After that meeting she found out that a staff member went through her luggage and removed Vapes. I was fine with them removing vapes. I was angry that they were dishonest with her. One therapist told her that part of her problem was her relationships and her sexuality. It was totally inappropriate. I spoke with the administrator there and told them that my daughter is musical.. She told me that she had a guitar and she was also musical. I asked her if she could bring the guitar for my daughter She never brought in the guitar. My daughter had migraines and was forced to sit in classrooms with halogen lighting. She was guaranteed that she could call her mother or father whenever she wanted and this was not allowed. My daughter also left her review. It was responded to by saying that they were very interested in her concerns and Word contact her. I never did. When my daughter left, they returned her vape to her.I thought the one good thing she could get out of the visit. Was cutting vaping. This place is unprofessional and neglectful.
