  I made an appointment at this location and minutes later my mother received my appt confirmation email, a link to set up mychart, and an estimate for services I was coming to have done. Mind you I am a grown 24 year old adult. I am assuming this happened because my mother brought me to planned parenthood when I was 15 years old and likely had her phone number and email on file for me as I was a minor at the time. HOWEVER, when I scheduled an appointment, nobody verified my demographic information other than my address which likely led to the distribution of my personal information to my other family member which is completely inappropriate. The ball was dropped. When I called this morning to speak to an office manager I was told she wasn't in office (perfectly fine) but then, I asked the rep to review my demographic info with me so we can take off any phone numbers and emails that were not mine and she stated that she was not able to do that without a security code... even though they were able to access it and ask me what my current address was and take off the incorrect one not 24 hours before. I believe this was in retaliation to me asking for a manager and I will be reporting this location to the BBB as well as the Department of Health and Human services for a HIPAA violation. It is wildly inappropriate for family members to know what I am coming in for or to even be able to question why I have an appt with PP. My information is suppose to be confidential and the simple step of verifying my demographic info while scheduling me should have prevented this. Again, the ball was dropped and unfortunately it led to my personal information being leaked. I would not recommend this planned parenthood to anyone especially if you care about your personal information being confidential.

  Overall, everyone provided great customer care/service. Nicki greeted me, checked me in, and gave me all the help I needed. She was just lovely. Extra cool points for her pins. I appreciate her and everybody else who took care of me today.

  I’m literally just trying to get my expired birth control taken out of my arm. Been calling to make an appt since NOVEMBER!! I can’t even book the appt online per the online website is either broke or they don’t allow me to make an appt at the only one near me online I have to call! But when I call I’m waiting to talk to some one for literally over 30 mins each time I call so I just end up hanging up and trying to book online. Like this is ridiculous, YALL put this in my arm AND I WANT IT OUT ITS UNCOMFORTABLE AND EXPIRED AND GETTING PAINFUL
