I wouldn't recommend to my enemy! Barely could provide care, barely any service provided, poor bed for my mum, just lack of anything. Had a music therapist 1ce whonwas fantastic but other than that.... had ta keep gettin pain meds and anxiety meds, i shouldn't work that hard ta get those things provided for my mum! I have had other companies that had ppl come and help me out when I'm there for hours upon hours, nobody Barely is there, 1 person came and was good about lotioning her up n changing her top but she smelled of a stale ashtray! This comany has been stressful!

No one likes to be in a position where hospice needs to be brought in during the final stage of a loved ones life. I recently found myself in that position however, and can't speak highly enough about my experience! From the day the nurse and social worker came in to do an assessment, until the day we lost my mom EVERYONE showed so much care, patience and compassion. There is much to learn through this process and I can see how busy and demanding this role can be for a nurse. Everyone we worked with was great and I highly recommend them!

Our family was really disappointed with Ecumen when it came to the help they gave to our sister/mom. It seemed like they never listened to what we were telling them. We felt a certain medication wasn’t working…answer “we have to follow protocol”. She seems to be in pain…answer “we have to follow protocol”. It took tears and a small fit to get some pain medication. Isn’t hospice for comfort care??? Dignity in dying??? Far from it with Ecumen.

The Ecumen hospice team that worked with my dear mom were such a wonderful and caring group of people. They helped my mom's journey through end stage colon cancer and she comfortable at all times. They also were so lovely to my sister and I. This is a group of very special people.
