  A few years ago I came in for a loose tooth. After an X-ray, the dentist said my existing crown was cracked and presented three options: a new crown, a bridge, implant that they said would cost around $10,000 and require bone grafting. I initially chose that option based on what they told me. When I returned to confirm, the dentist suddenly advised against the implant and pushed me toward doing a crown instead. I agreed. But then, while I was already in the chair, numb on Novocaine, and they had removed my crown (so I was literally sitting there without a tooth), the dentist changed the plan again and told me I couldn’t proceed with the crown after all. At that point they started pushing a temporary crown and orthodontic work, and pressured me to make a rushed, expensive decision on the spot while I was panicked and vulnerable. I had to call my wife to come in just to help me slow things down and make a sane decision. The staff’s attitude during this was rude and dismissive. Eventually, after multiple visits, we did proceed with a permanent crown—but that turned into another frustrating ordeal because they kept getting the color wrong. I had to come back three times, and even the final crown still doesn’t match my other teeth. After reading other reviews, it looks like my experience wasn’t a one-off—there seems to be a pattern of high-pressure sales tactics and upselling expensive treatment. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the way the plan was changed mid-procedure and the pressure applied felt completely unprofessional. If you value clear communication, consistent treatment planning, and not being pressured into costly decisions while you’re stuck in the chair, I’d strongly recommend going somewhere else.

  Thank you Gloria Lopez Franco and your excellent team!!! Your office is a shiny penny, you have kept patients safe throughout the pandemic with careful management—having patients mask, use sanitizer, do temperature checks, gargle, etc. Your office staff is very organized and efficient. They use iPads instead of clumsy paper forms. Reminders are automatically sent. The loyal Hygienists are well-trained and experienced. They know their patients and care. My mom has advanced dementia and has received needed monthly cleanings w/TLC from you and caring staff. You understand when to refer work better done by specialists.   I have been with this practice for many years. I have enjoyed the benefit of the expertise of consummate professionals--dentists and degreed assistants. The care is wonderful--extremely kind and sensitive to the patient--the whole person. Testimony is also in results: have no implants and, in my seniority, all my own teeth.
