Downtown Eyes is a privately owned optometric practice with two convenient locations: Downtown Minneapolis and Richfield. Our mission is to provide the highest quality eye care, eyewear and service to our patients. Our eye doctors perform annual eye exams, contact lens fittings, children/infant eye exams, LASIK surgery co-management, and treatment of eye diseases such as dry eye, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts. We utilize the latest technology and up-to-date instrumentation which allows us to give thorough eye examinations and the most accurate prescriptions. At Downtown Eyes, we adopt a personalized approach for every patient.

The office was kindly able to accommodate a schedule change for me when I was unexpectedly done with work several hours before the appointment! I know I probably just got lucky but still really appreciate it. Dr. Hemann was very professional & provided some info about my vision I hadn’t considered before which I really liked. My previous eye doctor was very good too but Dr. Hemann put their previous treatment into some context that made everything make more sense for me. The office staff was great too about going in depth with insurance benefits & finding some information on a specific set of frames I really like. Shout out to Lauren for the help with financials & assistance with picking out my new rx sunglasses! It was a great first visit, looking forward to the future!
