READ THE CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN UP. My husband and I are new to the area and needed a new gym and thought this place looked great BUT it turned out it didn’t work with our schedule very well which is no big deal on its own right? That wasn’t the only thing that didn’t work out with us for this place, they are constantly closing portions of the gym down for seniors or daycare or classes so when you set time aside to drive to the gym and work out it’s incredibly inconvenient especially when you are paying this much a month just to be told “oh you can’t workout in this area”. Since we had signed up and been going for less than a month and it wasn’t working out we decided we didn’t care about the monthly charges they had already taken out and just wanted to see if we could get our initiation fee back since $200 is a lot so we emailed Dakotah and nicely asked if that was possible and were told they need a 60 day cancellation notice. How in the world are most people supposed to know they want to cancel something 60 days in advance? I decided to take a look at the contract (too late unfortunately) and I actually only had 3 business days to cancel this membership to get the initiation fee back AND it had to be in writing delivered to the facility so no emails I’m assuming, paper only. So they lied on all counts. We reached out again about cancelling and the first person we spoke to said that getting the fee back would be no problem and handed us off to another lady who then said we couldn’t have it back so if you enjoy a terrible customer service experience this is the place for you! I would give this place 0 stars if I could and wish that I had gone back and read more reviews before signing up. Don’t be like me. Read the fine print.

I joined 6 months ago and paid 200 dollar sign up fee. I enjoyed the facility up until winter hit. I was asked to leave the basketball courts on several occasions recently to make room for pickleball and daycare kids. Paying 80 per month is steep when you can’t use the facilities. I asked the membership team if I could put my membership on hold until spring. I was told I am too young to do this and it was only for seniors. So you are going to pay more and receive less benefits if you’re not old. I followed up with an email and was told to cancel my membership and if I ever want to come back I can pay the 200 dollar sign up fee again. Terrible customer service and policies.
