  Everyone was so friendly and nice. Got right in and they were professional yet fun to pick on. Thanxs to everyone who gave me 20/20 vision again. It's been over 45 years.

  The whole LasikPlus team was amazing. Dr. Awad was a considerate physician who talked me through the procedure. After coming there I became less nervous. I was well taken care of. Thank you to all who were involved in my care.

  I went in for the initial free appt. on Wednesday, July 25th. I was impressed by how thorough they were. The appointment took an hour and a half. They used different machines on my eyes to make sure everything looked healthy and that Lasik would be a good option for me. I liked that there were multiple doctors who validated my prescription throughout the process. I wasn't expecting to have my eyes dilated during this appt so I would make sure that you have sunglasses handy and don't have to go back to work afterwards if you are coming in for the initial appt. Because everything looked good, I was given a green light to schedule and proceed with surgery. I was happy that Lasik Plus had a partnership with my health insurance so I was given an $800 discount AND their promotional offer. They do guarantee financing but I did have to put $800 down. The finance guy Tony was very helpful and explained all the different options. You choose whether you'd like to pay the balance off in 6, 12, 18 or 36 months. The longer you stretch it out, the more interest you pay. They were able to get me in on Saturday, July 28th (3 days after initial appt!). The eye doctor confirmed the prescription and checked my eyes on the day of surgery. I was given Valium + Ibuprofen prior to surgery. The staff put numbing drops in your eyes as well. I was asked multiple times whether I had any questions and how I felt. The surgery piece took about 10 min and the process was different than I thought it would be. My job was to focus on the different colored lasers (green or red) as instructed. The staff did the rest. Two lasers were involved in my process and I couldn't see the lasers or tell when or how they were working. At the end, the doctor checked my eyes to make sure all went well and then I was released to go home. The thing that caught me most off guard was the amount of discomfort I was in post surgery when my husband was driving me home. My eyes were really sensitive to the light (I had sunglasses on, my eyes were shut, and it was sunny outside). My eyes felt like they were burning and I wasn't able to fall asleep once I got home. I sat in the dark bathroom for a while with my eyes shut since any light irritated my eyes. After 4 hours, I felt much better. I was and still am able to see perfectly. I just have to get used to wearing sunglasses a lot more often. Their after care instructions are superb as well - they provide the anti inflammatory drops, preservative free drops, eye pills, etc. and explain how to use it all. I was impressed with this place and would highly recommend it. They are very efficient here, get the job done well, and are very customer-focused. I also have a follow up appt tomorrow.

  I had the most wonderful experience here! I had hardly a wait at all from my first appointment to getting the LaSiK surgery itself! They were all very helpful especially Dr. Cleary he was more than happy to answer all of my questions! I highly recommend this place! Dr. Ritchie was an amazing doctor as well I hardly remember the surgery!
