But sometimes it’s difficult to schedule an appointment when both my dental hygienist and the doctor are available. With the team of doctors shrinking from two to one, scheduling has been tricky, which affects the schedule for two teeth cleanings in a calendar year and a follow-up restoration. Although I was told that the doctor just needs to see the patient once a year following the teeth cleaning, it becomes a problem when patients need to be monitored after six months where both doctor and hygienist should be available. The staff shortage makes scheduling challenging and at times frustrating. Other than that, the team is great.
