Your pool area is rusted out if you’re someone that enjoys the swim leisurely and do labs looking up at the ceiling all I can see was rested out steel beams, and I was just like oh my God this is kind of scary and then the pool area just didn’t feel very clean. It felt old outdated and I felt like I have walked into a YMCA no disrespect, but I would take the YMCA over this location. Any day. The highlight to this location was they had a café bar area with good selection literally that’s it. The towels were so tiny too much and not in the good way.

When I asked to try the gym for the day to be sure I wanted to purchase a membership they told me they would have to charge me a fee. I’m not sure if this is a common gym phenomenon in Michigan or nationally but this seemed absolutely ridiculous to me. I refused to join based on that alone. If you’re not willing to let somebody try out your facility with no commitment then what are you hiding? That right there told me everything I needed to know. I then went to the powerhouse in Milford where they gladly let me try out their facilities free of charge before I ended up buying their membership. I can’t believe that no free trials of the gym is such a sticking point for this location that it’s worth missing out on hundreds of dollars of revenue a year by turning away people looking for a membership. I hope to hear they change this policy in the future.

Many patrons use walking aids, and their difficulty maneuvering around the ice piles and snow mounds that surround their cars is dangerous to say the least.
- WLWindsor LowryDec 10, 20251.0I had a membership here and had to leave town to go take care of my mom who got sick with cancer. I called them and explained my situation and why I could not physically come in to cancel my membership as my mom was dying and they said due to the circumstances they would allow me to cancel my membership via the phone. They in fact did not, and sent it to collections. I will not only not be reinstating my membership here; but I would never recommend this gym to anyone given my experience. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
