I'm not even sure where to begin with my utter lack of confidence and total displeasure with this provider. Dr. Woznick was basically all things that I can't stand about a doctor. I have no intention of ever returning to an office that has her on staff.
Full disclosure, I was not actively in significant pain from the issue that I was seeing her for. This happens when you have to wait months to be seen. Regardless of this fact, I would expect to have a reasonable discussion of the issue when I am going to be seen by a medical provider that I am paying for.
Dr. Woznick had little interest in my condition instantly from the point that I told her it hadn't been significantly bothering me of late. I had to pry and drag out any answers at all from her through the majority of the visit. I expected, I believe pretty reasonably, that visiting a specialist could at least provide me with considerations as to what the problem could be and any idea of further mitigation of the issue. I apparently was wrong. The only suggestion that she gave in the whole visit, other than a cheeky remark about not doing something that hurt my hand (something that was required at my job), was some weird suggestion against surgery. I had no desire to have surgery on my hand, especially when it isn't significantly bothering me, and I made no mention of such a desire. She said that surgery comes with a risk, and that she would advise against it - as if that wasn't clear in the first place.
At only 5 to 10 minutes into my appointment, she started getting shorter with her answers if that's even possible considering her original brevity. She checked her watch on at least one occasion, and tried to expedite me out of the room. I don't care if someone had no issue at all, that is not the way to treat a patient at your practice. People like me are the ones who pay for her to do her job (poorly), and I can't believe she has such audacity to waste the time of her patients in such a way.
