HORRIBLE.. honestly doesn’t even deserve the 1 star. I made my appointment over a week ago. I get an estimated bill so I follow up. Sent an email via the app and was advised by billing my insurance would be able to be billed. Fast forward to today, I go in for my appointment I am advised now all a sudden my insurance is not covered.. after I took the time off work and the time to drive all the way up here. Not only that I get an estimate for my IUD removal for $76 okay cool, I try to pay now all a sudden my HSA card is not accepted either. I thought Planned Parenthood was suppose to help and make things affordable for people. I can schedule my appointment with several other OB locations and it is covered. So long story short PP is NOT willing to help or work with you. Don’t bother writing and asking billing anything they will lie to you just so you show up for no reason. All could have been prevented if proper information was provided when asked. I will absolutely never use this facility again. How can PP even deny insurance if people are able to come and get services with NO insurance? It’s beyond me!

Had a great experience, received birth control with confidence today. All clinicians and PA were very knowledgeable and informative. Mary at the front desk went above and beyond to answer all my questions and help me with all my needs. She made the entire experience great!

I just canceled my appointment due to the fact of the financial department ONLY!! I was scheduling to go get an emergency AB (Doctors orders) I wasn’t gonna be able to carry and it upset me,but I needed financial assistance,And the lady otp made me feel even more horrible about the decision I had to make (MIND YOU I DIDNT WANT THE ABORTION I NEEDED IT FOR MY HEALTH RISK) she asked all the questions about my financial stability and once she got her answers she proceeded to call me “Broke” and then says “So you have no money at all but your trying to get an abortion” and then she sighed really loudly,And seemed irritated even tho I told her it was for emergency and my insurance won’t cover bc it’s Medicaid,I asked for her name and she said “U don’t need my name I didn’t do anything to you” The service was 600 she brought it down to only 520 and that made me feel like she wasn’t really trying to help me at all I told u my financial stability isn’t great because I can’t work due to my condition and it’s doctors orders that I have this taken care of so to only bring it down $80 and then make me feel like I’m just out here doing anything,so I refused the service becuz if I ever see that lady in person I will let her know that god will handle her with her disgusting behavior 👏🏾

I’ve been here a handful of times & today was my first bad experience. I came in a couple weeks ago to have my Nexplanon removed due to some complications and to discuss non-hormonal birth control options. I let the nurse know that I was hesitant about the copper IUD because of the possible pain during insertion. The nurse reassured me that it would be possible to have a doctor administer IV pain management and to let the receptionist up front know I was requesting IV pain management. I did, and my appointment was scheduled 2 weeks out. I never requested to be put on a waitlist, but received 4 texts with options for earlier appointments. I accepted one for 3 days prior to my scheduled appointment, as it aligned with mine and my partners schedules better. I wasn’t informed until after arriving to my appointment, sitting down with a nurse, and specifically asking about IV pain management, that it wasn’t available as a doctor wasn’t on site. I decided to go ahead and cancel the appointment, because the promise of pain management was the only reason I felt comfortable doing the procedure. As I was leaving, the receptionist at check out seemed intent on having me pay for something, despite no services being provided. I then received a text hours later rescheduling the appointment for my initial appointment date, which I can no longer keep and had to cancel. I do understand I could have kept the original appointment, or I could have opted to forgo the pain management. I also understand that the texts for the waitlist are automated, but I never requested it. An insertion without pain management, and with pain management requiring a doctor on site should be treated as different procedures for scheduling purposes, and one shouldn’t be able to be accidentally rescheduled as the other.

Had an appointment scheduled waited an hour in the parking lot. And filled out check in just to get in the building to be told they were close. Supposedly they called everyone and told them.. I had no missed calls and was still able to check in. Don’t waste your time.
