- MWMike Wolfskeil3 days ago1.03 months ago my Fiance had a copper IUD inserted, and yesterday 11/20/2025 i called and made and appointment to have it removed as it was causing a good amount discomfort to both of us. Keep in mind we have the same insurance coverage don’t owe any outstanding balances or anything like that. The receptionist tells her that “sorry you are going to have to pay out of pocket to have it removed”. And then made up some bull crap excuse that “trump made it illegal to accept state insurance” that was nowhere In any official bills, regulations, documents, executive orders or anything of the sort. I’ve done my research and this is not true at all. But apparently this is a ploy to stir antagonism towards the trump administration and now people’s health are at risk. This kinda stuff is completely ridiculous and inexcusable. Stop using people as political pawns! this program was always STATE FUNDED and we were guaranteed these birth controls at the state level. Trump has zero power to do anything like this at a state level unless that same government wants to deny it to push the agenda.

Very quick easy sign in process i recommend doing everything online before you go, I had a long wait to get back there, but that was to be expected with how busy it was. Amazing staff all the girls I talked to were friendly and so helpful, they made it very clear what to expect. My procedure was fast and I truly felt I could trust my doctor after knowing her for all of 5 minutes. IUD’s hurt but I was literally skipping around downtown immediately after with minimal cramping and virtually no pain today. If you’re thinking of birth control I’m very happy with my choice of the 12 year copper non hormonal iud.

Yesterday the staff was super friendly, my provider Tameka and her assistant were so nice and welcoming and despite my anxiety about my prolonged menstrual cycle, they validated my feelings and made it feel like a safe environment.
