I called because I was having some eye issues and possibly conjunctivitis and they told me that they didn’t treat that that I would need to call an optometrist. I have been an established patient with them in the past. So I called an optometrist and they said they don’t do that because it’s medical and to call the ophthalmologist back so I called them back and she told me that I saw Dr. Deleta when I was there the last time and that he is an optometrist and could treat it and I said why did you tell me that when I called that that they couldn’t.? Then I also said when I came to your office the first few times I asked to see an ophthalmologist because there’s an eye condition that runs in my family and I was told I was seeing an ophthalmologist but now you’re telling me he’s an optometrist. She said yeah he is and then I said OK whatever, can you ask him what I should do and then also, can you book me an appointment with an ophthalmologist for a few weeks from now? When I’m better. She said why do you need to see one and I told her and she said oh I’ve never heard of such a thing- my reply- talk to the doctor, I’m sure he can educate you on it. Her name was Breanna and she was very ill informed. Be careful when you make appointments there because you’re not seeing an ophthalmologist you’re seeing an optometrist and they are two different things but they’re billing you for seeing a specialist. This gal was seemed so uneducated yet she’s working for them!

My wife has been a patient for almost 4 years. I have been a patient for almost a year. Every 5 weeks I get an injection in my eye to prevent blindness. Every time I have an injection I have to use a PTO day because after the eye dialation, I can't see anything. I scheduled an appointment for September 22nd for 2:45 PM. On the 22nd I also have an upper GI scope. I get a call on the 19th that the doctor has decided to take the afternoon off and wondered if I could come in during the morning. Latest would be 9:45 am. I told them I will be coming out of anesthesia at 9:45. They then asked if I could come early. Right. I want to be completely blind with a little bit of eye trauma before I go under for surgery. I asked if I will get a cancellation fee. She said she wouldn't charge me. I said no no, do I get the cancellation fee. She said no. My wife and I will be finding a different doctor. I feel it was unprofessional to basically give me a days notice to reschedule so that he could take the day off.
