I went in to see Dr. Shah-Becker in October, and she wasn't able to help me, so she set up an appointment for me to see Dr. Riley in November, which was changed because Dr. Riley only works in that office on Mondays, which I would have thought the office would have known and not set an appointment for me to see Dr. Riley on a day he wasn't there. Both were very polite and professional. However, after paying my co-pay to see Dr. Shah-Becker, I had to pay another co-pay for the follow up appointment to see Dr. Riley...an appointment that I didn't request, but was recommended by Dr. Shah-Becker because she wanted me to see Dr. Riley. After speaking to the ENT billing department, who told me that the practices are determined by the insurance company, I reached out to my insurance company. My insurance company me that the practices are determined by the doctors office. I'm very frustrated so far. I've also requested an appointment to see about setting up a time for surgery, which was a week ago and have heard nothing. Update: I tried calling, as requested. After going through the phone tree, where I was not able to actually speak with a person, I left a message. I have yet to hear back...that was 4 days ago.
