Very disappointed in my recent experience here. I had called to get a prescription refill with 4 days' supply left, and on Tuesday I left a message on the pharmacy refill line. I hadn't heard back in three days, so I called again on Friday and the pharmacy let me know that my provider had denied my refill. They informed me that my previous refill was just a courtesy, because I had not followed up with my provider since January. I was never told that this was a courtesy - the real courtesy would have been to let me know that before I was going not get my prescription refilled. Mind you, this is a drug I take for my mental health, have taken for years without issue, and if I stop taking it suddenly I could have seizures, skin rashes, or many other reactions. They knew I was going to run out still denied me, nor did they even contact me to let me know within 72 hours. I had to call them to find out. I had the pharmacy transfer me to a nurse so I could request a temporarily supply until I could have a follow up, but my provider, Kylie Mosier, denied my request. Apparently it was Grace Health's policy. The phone nurse, Kelly, was excellent and really went above and beyond for me trying to help me figure out what to do, but the only options that Grace Health offered was to go to an Urgent Care or Emergency room. I ended up going to an urgent care, and they had me in and out in 20 minutes and gave me a three months' supply. The next week on Monday, after I had already gotten a new prescription, they called me and let me know that my provider had decided to write me a two week supply. Of course, they should have figured that I would have already run out of my prescription and that I would possibly have to start again on a lower dose.
