I moved to Battle Creek and was trying to transfer my records from the Kalamazoo Cancer Center to the Battle Creek Cancer Center, and I finally got a call back 3 weeks later. They had to leave a message on my voicemail because I was busy. I wish I could have been able to answer that, because little did I know about the grief and misery that was in store for me. They left me a callback number to reach them, but too bad it was their fax number....... I called their ridiculously long automated system that is the worst I have ever dealt with. There are no options at all for making an appointment. If you select any of the options, you have to leave a message and hope they call you back. If you don't choose any options, and wait for the operator to help you, it kicks you out to some Cisco Unity Automated system that asks you if you want to hear all the extension numbers, or wait for the operator. The problem with that is, if you wait for the operator, the message just replays, two more times. Then, it hangs up on you. I am calling someplace else. This is ridiculous.

I couldn't recommend this place less. Let's start with trying to get an appointment, when you call here you have to go through an overly long automatic answering machine, after two minutes when you finally get a person they will have no idea what to do and will transfer you to someone else, that other person will not pick-up and you will have to leave a voice-mail. If you ever manage to get an appointment they will send you 20 reminders then when you show up they act like they have no idea you had an appointment. Now the waiting room is the most terrible waiting room possible. The high metal roof makes it extremely noisy which isn't helped by the constant staff milling about, not working or anything just talking to other employees because the waiting room doubles as the employee lounge for some reason. When you finally go back to see the doctor expect to wait at least another half hour before they show up. Then after your visit is over expect to wait in another waiting room for 20-30 minutes for the privilege of scheduling another appointment. I honestly find it morally reprehensible how they treat their patients.
